The story of Northwest Ag Products traces back to the fertile lands of the Willamette Valley in Oregon in 1984. Originally known as Desilva LLC, the company was founded by Denilda Silva Moore, who initially specialized in crafting women’s maternity wear. However, the company’s direction shifted when a simple request for a waterproof apron transformed it into an agricultural product powerhouse.

Recognizing the need for durable materials in agricultural products, Denilda embarked on a journey to create the perfect dust bag for cattle. Through meticulous research and field testing, she developed the iconic “Tough Blue Bag” using paraffin-coated canvas, ensuring durability and functionality even in the harshest conditions.

As demand grew, so did the product line, including the original rectangle bag known as the Oregon Bag and later the triangle-shaped A-Bag. Today, under the name Northamerican Ag Products, Inc., the company continues to uphold Denilda’s legacy by supplying cattlemen and cattlewomen across the country with top-quality dust bags.
